Barclay Mechanical, Inc.
Certified welding for fabrication and repair, ASME* pressure vessels,
boilers, conveyor
systems, rock dust tanks, food processing equipment, mine and agricultural
equipment - we can take care of all your fabrication and repair needs at
BMI. Whether mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc., each
project is given special attention, no matter how big or how small. Our
staff of skilled certified welders are ready to complete your project.
We also hold a Utah General Contractor's license (#5586018-5501). We require
adherence to the highest standards, emphasizing safety as Job #1 for any
project completion. Our employees complete extensive safety training,
including employment start-up training, weekly safety meetings, annual
MSHA safety refreshers, and specialty training seminars.
Who We Are
Our roots are in Idaho, but our home is in Utah.
Barclay Mechanical,
Inc. has a long history of providing professional service to it's
customers. The company's roots go back to January 1, 1980 when
it's owner, Michael D. Barclay, originally founded Barclay Welding in
Idaho. To more adequately describe the variety of services and
products Barclay Welding came to provide, the name was changed in 1985
to Barclay Mechanical, Inc. In 1991, Mike expanded the business
and gained two partners; the company reincorporated in Idaho as Barclay
Mechanical Services, Inc. In 1993, Mike moved his family to Manti,
Utah, and started a "branch" of Barclay Mechanical Services, Inc. here.
While the two companies are now separate entities, Barclay Mechanical,
Inc. shares the rich history of being a successful small business with
it's Idaho past.
BMI now provides a wide range
of products and services, including general contracting. Our
current Manti staff provides over 28.75 years of wood frame and 54.25
years of metal frame construction experience. Add to this 20+
years of electrical experience, 10+ years in HVAC, 18 years in plumbing,
and 22+ years in concrete, and you can see that - whether it's a metal
building or any other type of project you might need - we have the staff
to provide a well-rounded expertise to accomplish your goals.
